Birch Bay Village ~

 

Birch Bay, Washingtonis located about 20 miles north of Bellingham,

Washington and about 100 miles north of Seattle just off I-5.

With the Resort at Semiahmoo just 3 miles from central Birch Bay

 and the warmest waters north of California, Birch Bay is a destination worth a visit.

During the summer, Birch Bay gets quite busy as visitors come

from across the United States, and Canada.

There are some of the best Golfing with two World Class Golf Courses located

within 3 miles of Birch Bay and many smaller (not to mention less expensive)

golf courses located in

and around Birch Bay.

Bellingham, the most recognized neighbor to the south has received many mentions

of being one of the top 10 cities to live in around the U.S.


Birch Bay residents will agree that Bellingham is great,

but if you want to relax and enjoy life,

Birch Bay and Semiahmoo are the place to go.

With Mount Baker just a little over an hour away,

Whistler Resort, less then 3 hours to the north, Seattle 2 hours south,

 not to mention Vancouver, British Columbia just a mere 40 miles away to the north,

Birch Bay & Semiahmoo are destinations for the whole family with activities for everyone.

During the summer there are tons of activities as merchants

 throughout the bay as well as the local Chamber of Commerce sponsor events for the whole family.

There are also a number of wonderful places to eat.

Birch Bay has been known for years as a place to clam and crab.

Since Birch Bay has some of the warmest water on the Pacific Coast,

Birch Bay is a favorite place to swim in the ocean.

Directions to Birch Bay:



By Car:
From the South (Seattle area):
Head north on I-5. Take the Birch Bay-Lynden Rd exit # 270 and turn left onto the Birch Bay-Lynden Rd. Follow this road to the end (about 4 miles) and take a left onto Harborview Rd. Harborview Rd takes you down to Birch Bay Dr. at the central portion of the bay.

From the North (Vanvouver, B.C. Canada):
Head south on 99 to the Peach Arch Border Crossing (or Pacific Highway Truck Crossing) and you will enter Blaine, WA. Continue south from Blaine on I-5 until you reach Birch Bay-Lynden Rd. Exit #270. Turn right onto the Birch Bay-Lynden Rd. and follow it about 4 miles to the end. You will see the waterslides on your right and the bay to the left. Turn left onto Harborview Rd. which will take you to Birch Bay Dr. in the central portion of Birch Bay.


By Boat:
Birch Bay does not have a public marina, but there are two marinas located nearby that offer visitor moorage.
