Looking for a meal that's a cut above the rest? With this Adventure, we've got the raw deal on your next outing when you learn how to make two sushi rolls, drink sake sangria, and sample a third, exotic roll.

We'll rendezvous at Point Zero Lounge & Restaurant where our sushi-loving guides will be on hand to help make sure everything goes off swimmingly. After gathering in groups of ten, we'll make our way to the prep tables where sushi chefs will be waiting with bamboo sheets, fine knives, and keen instructions for all of us. Under their tutelage, we'll create our own avocado and California rolls, picking up tips on cooking the perfect sticky rice and finding the right sheets of seaweed.

Following the tutorials, we'll ease into the next phase of the evening and receive a primer on sake. Over edamame and miso soup, we'll sip on a glass of sake sangria while taking in a history of the famous rice wine and the many filtration and fermentation procedures that separate a $15 carafe from a $200 one. We'll finish off the night with a sampling of one of Point Zero's exotic rolls, such as the Buddha with yam, asparagus, and avocado; or one with cream cheese, avocado, miso sauce, and banana tempura. Meet new friends, and flap your fins with joy—this is one catch that beats the heck out of takeout.
