SAAB 9-2x
The 9-2x is SAAB’s first all-wheel-drive model, mainly targeting the younger generation. It borrows its platform from Impreza.
9-2X is powered by 2.5 liter V4 2.0 turbo engine, which is capable of delivering 227 horsepower at 6000rpm with a maximum torque of 217 lb-ft at 4000rpm. It can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 5.5 seconds. The interior of the 9-2X is equipped with heated leather seats, a 6-CD player stereo system and much more.
On a test drive, we were on a winding mountain road in the San Diego area. With the all-wheel-drive system, the vehicle was easy to control, and the gas uptake was very nimble. The acceleration was very impressive and we reached a speed of 130 mph, and we were also very satisfied with the braking.
With all the enhancements and Subaru’s excellent technology, SAAB’s new 9-2X has established itself as a competitor to Volvo’s V50 which will be launched soon.
