心口如一心與口是人發語的兩端，按照佛家的觀點，心為善生，而口為妄生。唯有心口如一才是可信之人。常言道人善之首，即是心口如一。這話正是告誡眾人：口中所言皆應出自肺腑，語出之理也當極盡恪守。海納百川，有容乃大；壁立千仞，無欲則剛」，對於心中自律的堅守，他們都做到了始終如一。古人常說每天三省吾身的省思，是在無人時、細微處，如履薄冰、如臨深淵，始終不放縱、不越軌、不踰矩。知行合一有兩個層面。據我所知，絕對多數人只理解到一個層面。即說到做到，就是理論知識和行為的統一。從這個理解上相當的成功者俱備了這個素質。
