Two New Zealand pilots whose plane ran out of fuel landed on a wing and a prayer, local media reported on Wednesday.

2位紐西蘭駕駛在飛機油料耗盡後靠著機翼及祈禱順利降落，當地媒體週三報導。

Grant Stubbs and Owen Wilson from Blenheim, at the top of the South Island about 50 kilometers south of Wellington, were in a microlight plane when the engine cut out.

格蘭特．史塔布斯及奧文．威爾森引擎沒油熄火時正開著一台超輕型飛行器。他們來自布雷罕，此地位於（紐西蘭）南島北端，離威靈頓50公里。

"When you’re in a microlight if you crash, you usually die. I turned to O B （Wilson） and he said we had no fuel," Stubbs told the Marlborough Express newspaper.

「當你開著一台超輕型飛行器，如果墜機的下場就是掛點。我轉頭看著OB（威爾森的綽號），而他說我們沒油了」，史塔布斯告訴報紙「馬爾布洛快訊」。

"I asked what we should do. He said： ’You just pray Grant.’"

「我問我們該怎麼做。他說，『你只能祈禱上帝饒你一命』。」

Stubbs said he prayed to God to get them over a ridge and they finally landed in a small grassy area, and beside a 20-foot high sign saying "Jesus is Lord -- The Bible."

史塔布斯說他祈求上帝讓他們越過一道山脊，然後終於降落在一片小草地，旁邊正好有個20呎高的牌子寫著「耶穌是主－聖經」。
