【在生活中學習語言】《中英對照讀新聞》Why a date on a rollercoaster is the best way to find love 為什麼在雲霄飛車上約會是找到愛情的最好方法

Exciting and dangerous situations can boost levels of key hormones that are also responsible for making people fall in love at first sight.
Psychologist and author Richard Robinson said research had shown that riding rollercoasters causes the body to release a hormone that causes euphoria.
Scientists have also found that this hormone, called phenyl ethyl-amine, is released in large amounts when meeting someone attractive and is responsible for the often suffocating feeling of love at first sight.
He said : "Phenyl ethyl-amine creates the feeling of joy and excitement, so if you want to make someone fall in love with you, then take them on a rollercoaster."
"The release of the hormone would mimic the effect of love. The only problem is that it is short lived and falls away very quickly."
