Beating a dead horse

文/Dr.J.J.

Chris:Hey, I need your opinion!

Chris:

Sheila:Sure, on what?

Sheila:

Chris:I showed you my designs last time, remember?

Chris:

Sheila:Of course I do. They are so unique and cute. I personally like them a lot!

Chris:I actually sent some of my designs to a company but they have never got back to me with any comments at all. Do you think I should try other companies or I’m just beating a dead horse. No one will be interested in those at all?

Sheila:I wouldn’t say that, but to be honest, I find your ideas a bit too avant-garde for this market. You should try some companies in Europe.

Chris:Why?

Chris:

Sheila:Consumers there are more sophisticated and I believe they’ll be more receptive to new ideas. You’d never know. You may just be a most-wanted top designer in no time!
