其實,咖啡可以不只是咖啡

其實咖啡可以不只是一杯咖啡

剔透的玻璃壺內加入研選咖啡粉,熟練而專業的師傅完成所有手續,烹煮出一杯香郁熱咖啡,端到你桌前時,此時你會嘗試思考,這一杯濃郁入口,就是你給眼前這咖啡所認定的僅有價值嗎?

是嗎? …

是嗎?

如果只有這樣價值的話,人們大可不必嚮往巴黎左岸的午後風情,華美的玻璃製咖啡杯不再會有銷路,取代的是紙杯或是摔不壞的塑膠杯…
如果再以為咖啡只是僅僅提供人們的味覺享受,那麼可能太過於小看了人們對於其他感官的需求…

其實咖啡的存在,豐富了我們的生活;考生要熬夜,它說提供夜半的精神;晨間上班族一手拿著三明治,另一手的咖啡可以給你解渴;午後時分,偶能偷閒的朋友,坐在咖啡館前,桌上的咖啡說,我給你悠閒的感覺;進口咖啡的咖啡商更是熟知這樣的技巧,因為這不只滿足了現代人的口腹之慾,給了人們豐富的想像力,也在午後的社交生活中提供了更多的樂趣。這樣的咖啡,我們還能認為它存在的價值僅僅只是一小杯飲料嗎?

我是一個小小職員,在老闆的眼裡,我的存在只是一個每月支薪固定的”固定成本”,會計簿上記著”人力”的科目名稱,我的專業與職業興趣遠遠比不上與我相同等級的同事,但我深諳”咖啡哲學”的道理,如果沒有發揮其他”商業價值”的話,我連提供一杯25元的伯朗都不沒有,但僅僅有一杯好喝咖啡的能力並不是我想要的,或者說我並不關心這樣的技能…

我要的目標就像是…

能提供人們充滿想像的咖啡,價格是一趟台北巴黎的來回機票,時間是一下午以及人們永遠的回憶;在此之前,我得先承認 --- 提供一杯咖啡只是我的一項”基本工具”,別人想不到也不會來跟我要一杯珍珠奶茶;僅有咖啡,藉由這項工具滿足人們慾望之門… (當然,也可以僅提供專業的泡沫紅茶,但是提供什麼對我而言並不重要… )

正因為這樣的戲法,讓咖啡佔有人們的心靈,當有更多的消費慾望時,一定會光顧提供更多價值的咖啡館,藉由咖啡豐富人們的想像,人們也樂意滿足服務者荷包… 這,是我的目標…

咖啡,只是個工具;若能善用此工具,就能提供的是更高附加價值的東西…

這是我下一階段努力的目標,不過在此之前,我還是得想想如何讓我泡出的咖啡不是鹹的><||||

我期許自己…

在職場上,一分靠專業,九分靠人脈;專業是我的工具,擁有人脈是我的存在價值,我提供怎樣的專業不是我的重點,重點是我怎樣把我的專業當作是拓展人脈的一項工具… 當大夥兒已經開始依賴我的所提供能力時,此時,就是我的下一個機會來臨了…

至於,要怎樣建立第二階段的價值,那就是另外一項課題了… ^,^Y

More Than One Cup of Coffee

When there is a fragrant cup of coffee, made from the best coffee beans and by a practiced barista (a coffee master), in front of you, how do you define the value of this cup?

That’s just a cup of coffee?

Do you indeed believe no more than a cup of coffee?

If it just only could provide the value of normal coffee, maybe the Left-Bank should not be existed? People could drink coffee with plastic cups instead of the beautiful coffee cups, couldn’t they?
Or maybe people need more? More than the taste, JUST a cup of coffee itself could be provided…..

I think coffee provide us more colorful life on earth; for example, spirits for midnight students, thirst-quenching for whom are eating, atmosphere for whom sit cozily on the coffee tables in the coffee shops….etc.
Coffee, actually, gives human beings farther more imagines. DO YOU STILL THINK IT JUST A NORMAL CUP OF COFFEE?

In my company, I just play a no more than junior engineer. In my boss’ eyes, I am just a worker; I always think he sees me as the monthly-pay cost….. like the good’s outgoings…. (I just can be glad that I needn’t be counted in the depreciation.)

But I know if I just can provide the original skills, like general coffee, to my boss, the existence of me just likes the normal coffees gotten from any supermarket. That’s very cheap and invaluable. More than being an engineer is what I really want…

Like coffee….

The coffee in Paris, providing lots of imagines for people, costs the price of a round-trip airplane ticket, spends the whole afternoon and all life to memory….
Before that, I have to realize that making coffee is just a FUNDMENTAL TOOL. It is used to satisfy what people need and desire…. (Of course, I’m also able to make the bubble milk tea, but what I should provide isn’t important….)

Having coffee fill with people’s mind is a magic I can play. If you need more than a cup of coffee can provide, that’s the value what I provide.

Making a delicious coffee is only a TOOL; by using this tool well, we have chance to create more additive values…..

This is an advanced skill….

What I expect is…

Actually, I’m an engineer, not a barista. Solving engineering problems is my tool I use, not making coffee. But the thoughts aren’t different….

Professional skill is just a small part to success. Using professional skill to make well-relationship with people
