Festival International De Jazz De Montreal
The Jazz Festival started from 27 June to 7 July. I went there last three nights after my studying. There are 7 scenes (stages) around the Place-Des-Arts. Actually even the title is Jazz Festival but there are many kinds og music over there. And I enjoy it!
The surrending of Place-Des-Arts is blocked because of the performances on Saint-Cathrine, Jean-Mance, and President-Kennedy Streets. The main sponsors are General Motors, SAQ, Bankue nationale, CBC Radio Canada, La presse, and The Gazette.
The most enjoyable show is from Louisiane. I don't know what kind of music it is. But the joyful automosphere is very amazing. I like to see people dance or move following the melody. I do so, too! The scene on Saint-Laurant is located in a good place. And I love the seats around the park. It's like the seats around the stadium when you go to a school baseball game. Well, I saw them often in movies.
The shows are played all the day and last till midnight. The crowdest time is around 9 o'clock on weekends. And there are many visitors from U.S. and other countries. Thank God, these days are good days to walk out.
