Everybody loves Raymond is a very funny comedy tv show. I love to watch that too.
We do have ”Captions” in our TV ,and you can read the ENglish subtitle while you listen to it. IT helps even better, at least, you can learn the correct pronounciation. :)

(”learing” should be ”Learning”,

I believe that there are a lot of image of western culture
that we have are from our mass media. But please remember that they are not all true. If you want to know a culture, you have to immerse in one culture at least one year. You have to see through your own eyes, and oberve everything.
