What's Compressed air filter installation principles

How compressed air filters work:
1. Introduce compressed air containing contaminants such as dust, oil, rust and water into the first stage filter unit of the compressed air filter.
2. When compressed air passes through the first stage cylindrical mesh filter element, a coalescing effect occurs where larger particles are adsorbed onto the filter material and water condenses into larger droplets. 3. Once in the separation chamber, the compressed air velocity slows down, so the particles accumulate again and the water mist condenses again into the honeycomb waterfall.
4. Water laden with dirt particles flows along the bottom to the drain and is discharged through an automatic or electric drain valve.
Five. More than 95% of water droplets, oil and large particles in the compressed air are filtered by the first filter element and the filtered compressed air from the first stage enters the second stage filter element.
6. When the compressed air passes through the second stage fiber filter made of special cotton, thousands of small vortices are generated and the compressed air is accelerated by tens of times. In order to maximize the effect of the product, please select the appropriate installation position according to the purpose of the site.
1.Please connect the air inlet and outlet correctly according to the direction indicated on the product and pay attention to the vertical installation.
2. To solve the problem of oil and water in branch lines and terminal equipment, it should be as close as possible to the terminal equipment. Usually within 7.5 meters. 3. When installing the product in the main line of the air compressor station, please keep it at least 10 meters away from the air compressor exit. The lower the temperature of the pipeline, the more suitable for installation. If the installation site air inlet temperature is above 60°C, it is recommended to install an aftercooler before the filter.
