During the SARS outbreak in Hong Kong, people wear masks and keep silent in public space. We see no talking but only blinking in our facial expressions.
About Blink:
Each Blink cuts the live movie of eyes into two footages. Each piece of footage represents the feeling of eyes longing for tears against dryness.
Description:
When I took the KCR train traveling between Lo Wu and Hung Hom, I looked at different passengers’ eyes one by one and followed each one’s rhythm of blinks for one minute and recorded by a video camera. As I was so concentrated at copying all his/her blinks, I couldn't remember what I had seen at that period but the darkness separating each blink.

I would like to invite you to follow someone’s rhythm of blinks today.
