In ELC Chapter V, Danniel, an American exchange student studying in Hong Kong, is invited to participate as a Cantonese student. In a free afternoon, Danniel came to the Hong Kong Institute of Education, an environment with solely teachers and teacher-to-be, to ask people there each to teach him a Cantonese sentence. He then recorded the pronunciation by English alphabets.
