Intro

Tung flower all over Taiwan blooms in the past few weeks. Chou, one of my senior high school classmate and I are planning a Tung flower tour in Miaoli.

Method

After we surfed many traveler's blogs, realized approximately the condition of Tung flower bloomed, made up our mind to visit Yong He Mountain Dam situated at Sanwan village. The reasons are except for there seems had the most blooms of Tung flower, the main reason is we had never been in there before.

She arrived at Miaoli last Saturday morning. After a brief lunch and short rest, we started off at about 1 p.m.

Result

Though it wasn't sunny that day, luckily, it had no rain, too. And we prepared raincoats and umbrellas. Not worried about the weather. But we soon lost our way. I turned a wrong corner in the halfway journey, went a further way to Toufen town. By getting help from many kind shop assistants, we finally set our foot on goal. It took us about two hours to arrive there.

Tung flower bloomed very much aside roads. I parked my motorcycle aside a small road that one couple came for flowers, too told us and we took some pictures under the trees. At that time, it had a light rain. That's my first time to see a carpet of flowers covered the ground everywhere. Flowers fell before had sour smell transpired. Above them covered with new fell white flowers made the view more real and profound.

Conclusion

Though we once lost our way by accident, fortunately there was only a light rain. We took many beautiful pictures and owned wonderful memories that day.
