The Angel of the North

It was the vision of Gateshead Council to create a landmark sculpture at the entrance to Tyneside, which culminated in The Angel of the North.
Its wings are 54 metres (175 feet) wide; The scale cannot fail to impress, at 20 metres (65 feet).

此巨人，是在1998年完工矗立在A1公路上。是進入Newcastle必經之路，也是Newcastle給人的溫暖擁抱。
4月7日，晴空萬里，是出遊的好天氣。我準備到一個城堡去，會經過此地標，當然也要來去給他拍照一下。

這樣的天氣才像在過Easter!我們已經快一個星期沒看到太陽了.昨天的Easter天公還下雨,一點都沒有春天的味道.我們也不能太抱怨,因為中西部,Ohio, Michigan等地更慘.他們的Easter在大雪中度過...好怪的天氣!
