After this trip to CA, I really realized that we need to see the environments of schools rather than just getting the information from some friends and some friends’ friends or some ranking websites.

I visited San Diego State University, University of California (UC) at San Diego, UC at Los Angeles, California Institute of Technology, & University of Southern California. I changed lots of my stereotypes on those schools.

Also, I met one person, who got the master degree form Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University from Taiwan. He got the admission to EE PhD program in CalTech. He was there in CalTech to visit his future advisor. Sometimes I really felt a little jealous of him...

At the moment of getting rejection from BU EE PhD, this trip really encourages me to apply for the schools in CA. However, there are bunch of problems before the application.

Will I have another magic to make it ?
