On June 25th, singer K.Will made the hearts of his fans flutter with his third solo concert, “My Heart Is Beating“, at the Olympic Park Hall.
Despite the pouring raining and Im Jae Bum and Kim Yeon Woo’s concerts being held on the same day, 3,000 fans gathered to fill up his concert hall. The event was opened with the song that earned him his first music program trophy, “My Heart Is Beating”. After singing “Present“, he spoke towards the crowd, “Despite the rain and the various concerts next to us, thank you for coming.”
The atmosphere was further amplified with celebrity friends and guests, Wheesung, No Eul, and Lee Hyun. Labelmate girl group SISTAR also made the males in the crowd roar with their performances of “Ma Boy” and “How Dare You“.
K.Will also nicknamed himself a dancing machine and commemorated the second anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death by performing “Beat It“, “Black or White“, and “Dangerous“.
As promised, he went on to show fans a bevy of other performances that showed sides of him that can’t be seen on TV. Donning a sparkly jacket, he performed UV’s “Itaewon Freedom“, “Ddeng Ddeng Ddeng“, and Psy’s “Celebrity“.
Most noted was his performance of “Hotel California“, as he dedicated the song as a message to his own father. The 150-minute concert was concluded with an encore of “My Heart Is Beating”.
