不過，自己讀這個小說的時候很害怕，因為我把它當作 thriller 看。上完課之後就好了。

這故事有玄機： Arnold Friend 可能是 Arnold Fiend. 假如這個變態是魔鬼的化身，他的幻化長相、他的操控語言都有鄉間奇譚的味道，他的誘惑也不再「只是」date rape. 因為遠離現實，整個故事變成 religious parable, 減少我許多恐懼。
