Creative industrial designs from Taiwan impressed London audiences Sept. 23 to 26 at 100% Design, the leading U.K. design and architecture event for industry professionals.
The Bravo Taiwan pavilion, one of 13 different country exhibits, marked Taiwan’s debut at the renowned design show, according to the Council for Cultural Affairs, the major sponsor behind this initiative.
The nine participating Taiwan brands are Yii, The One Images Ltd., Cheerful Fashion Goods Co., Ltd., Jia Inc., Strauss Design, Yantide Corp., Detekt Design & Technology, Golden Moon Design and biaugust Creation Office, the CCA added.
According to local media, Juliann Humphryes, one of the event organizers, lauded Taiwan’s abundant creative energy in her opening remarks Sept. 23. “A very important country in the world of creative design is here this year—Taiwan,” she said.
Part of the London Design Festival running Sept. 18-26, 100% Design London was held in Earls Court, London. (THN)
