the last week in school
By the end of April, I can put a full stop on my life in CityU. And by the end of 8th May, my school life will be officially ended (well, i hope it’s just temporary)
Looking back the days I was studying in AD of Translation and Interpretation, I didnt enjoy the days in CityU. It’s because I was just a AD students, and my boyfriend was far away from me. So I kind of suddenly stepped into a new environment without my dear staying with me. Most importantly, I was still new to handle such a difficult and disgusting long distance relationship, so my emotion was fluctuating all the time. I skipped a LOT of lessons when I was feeling very blue as my boyfriend didn’t call me or we had argument again.
Luckily, I received an offer from CityU, which is the degree what i am studying and going to finish now. And I finally have a chance to stepped into Europe during the first summer holiday in CityU - London.
So my University life was officially started on Sept, 2004. I didn’t enjoy my life in my first year, because I hate learning grammar and i was still keeping my long distance relationship with my stupid boyfriend. The most unforgettable subject in year 1 was the qualitative research, I still remember Tim and me had an interview with my boyfriend’s parents, the topic was how married couples (who have married for over 15 years) keep their relationship. But my boyfriend’s parents only kept talking on how they start their business together...Haiz...
I started to work in CityU too, like working for the secretariant of the principal and the library. My year 1 summer holiday started when Cindy was preparing her stuff to go to Canada for the exchange programme. I also got an offer to Norway too, I still remembered the day I checked my email. Really thanks to CityU for giving such a great chance even I didnt work my ass off in every single semester. So my second semester of year 2 was in beautiful stunning Oslo with Suki, Chris and Damon.
The first semester in Year 3 was damn busy, i wont dump the schedule book of this year as it reminds me how crazily busy I was in Nov 2006. This semester, the last semester in TESL, it’s not that bad, at least I still have time to have squash time once a week. However, I still feel that I do not enjoy my life in CityU. WHY? Maybe it’s too small, too crowded, too many people, too many "tram guys" and too lacking of delicious food.
Anyway, I am leaving this Uni, no more festival walk!!!YAY!!!
