The Process that matters
Mission completed, at least the most daunting part. Completing mission requires substantial amount of perseverance and concentration. Thanks Lord for granting me those.
Arriving home at 2:30am, how things can change within 24 hours. On my way back from HKU, I do expect something would come up (like the proud of completing an important task) but strangely it didn’t. Good friend Lucy said I had experiences in knowing the opening hours of particular building– for this is not my first mid-night visit to the school, she recalled. Surely, something seems needing effort to change.
Fruitful sharing and discussions are always great food for soul. The greatest reward for completing the mission tonight was the opportunity to have time sitting down at Dong Pai Dong with good friends from Mainland. Though it’s near midnight, we still had great conversations. Though the food may only be tasty for the starving human being, we still had lots of laughters. How grateful to end today in this way!
We discussed a few research areas tonight at Dai Pai Dong. Lucy postulated certain elements in“process” is a vital part for constructing model in the realm of learning research. (She fell in love doing modeling on different constructs by a new software lately). I think so for this already appealed me tonight.
Right before I dropped off Leili at Swire Hall, she showed her appreciation. I said:
The “process” is far more important.
Prof Watkins is going to be glad to see us putting the literature read into daily life! Leili exclaimed.
Yes, he better be.
