Edmonton 100 Year Celebration

Well... There're nothing much in this celebration, at least not something big.

Band marching, multicultural exhibition, some old cars at my grandma's age, and ... free stuff to give out. We're impressed by a "shoe machine". It's used by shoe stores in old days. They use X-ray (that's the reason why they don't use it anymore nowadays) to "see" if the shoes fit their customers' foot. First, you just put your feet with the shoes on into a hole. The salesman would then look inside another hole to see if the size of the shoes fit you. That sounds pretty good, huh? But ppl, it's X-ray. I don't wanna get cancers coz i went to buy my shoes. It's funny for us to look the way ppl used to live in the past. That's the best part of the exhibition in the City Hall. Gotta mention... The City Hall is a fancy pyramid made of glass. Personally, I bet that's the best building in Edmonton. May be I will post a picture of it next time.

Fireworks at nite was the highlight. But not really such a big deal!
