The Lake House

It’s a story about a man waiting for a woman who came from
the future. Completely opposite to the story Persuasion,
written by Jane Austen, a woman never gave up waiting for a
man who might never show up in the woman’s life again.
However, this endless waiting did not destroy the woman’s
faith to the man that she loved. In the movie, Alex quoted
a sentence in Persuasion, Chapter 8
“There could have been no two hearts so open, no tastes so
similar, no feelings so unison, no countenances so be loved.”
Simple words however gave Alex’s whole heart to Kate.
Because of time expansion, time always keep Alex
waiting and waiting. Finally, Ales met Kate in his
February 14, 2006; Kate met Alex in her February 14,
2008, and they met each other in the Lake House.
Happy ending~

However, as Kate said” Real life is completely different
from the book!” People in the reality keep moving and
living in their life; protagonists in the book are just
in stories and not real. Kate once chose to keep forward
her life but never quenched her thirst to listen to messages
about Alex! After all, Time is still their common arch rival.

There is no denying, time is a thing that can make
a beautiful encounter but also can divide two combined
hearts separated! Even though time is such a unexpected
thing, I still happily expect my next love. Not because
I am fearless about the bad ending I had before, instead,
a dream builder am I. Though I am nature of romance, I
enjoy both doing myself and loving, being loved by a man.
But I much prefer to get along with myself rather than
waste time with a guy who never touches my heart.
