Benrinnes 1991/2008 17yo (55.8%, Special Drinks Ltd., Hogshead C#705 210Bts)

C: yellow

21 N: oak, vanilla, cream, some wood cask. Fragrant, then some powder, cookie, toast

21 T: medium, a little dry and spicy, creamy, ginger, cookie, vanilla, fresh and smooth, neatly wood cask

20 F: medium, creamy, ginger, butter, bread, beautiful wood cask and extension

21 B: balanced, better for tasting, a lovely bottle, drinkable

 

Benrinnes 1994/2008 14yo (50%, DL OMC, Sherry Butt C#4428 661Bts)

C: amber

19 N: some bitter Ale, nuts, rich grass juice,草藥,醬菜, then some sweet chocolate, cocoa

20 T: medium, orange peal, rich and round,麵醬, a little sour, milk, soy milk,味霖

19 F: short -> medium, hint of sodium in mouth,藥草,酸奶,醬味

20 B: balanced, maybe more complexes if we wait for more time

 

Benrinnes 1984/2008 24yo (58.6%, Sigv., Refill Butt C#115 598Bts)

C: yellow

19 N: a little sandal wood, prune, hay,藥草,醬汁, then some powder, degraded fast? Raw bean, cinnamons

18 T: medium, dry and spicy, some bitterness, cocoa, good impact, but flat and few complexes

19 F: short -> medium, obviously powder, some sandal wood,醬汁,餿麥,grass juice, obviously sweet hint, toffee

19 B: somehow, flat, few complexes, bad butt?

 

Benrinnes 1984/2005 21yo (57.8%, Adelphi C#146 576Bts)

C: dark amber, brown

21 N: gun fire, sulphur from begin, some raisin, orange, chocolate, followed by some plum, cinnamons, rich, dark sherry

22 T: full, dry and spicy, round and rich, raisin, orange, chococlate, strong impact and direct, very intense

21 F: long, raisin, orange, chocolate, coffee bean, still some hints of sulphur

21 B: good balanced, both for N & T, better to spend more time after sulphur spread out, good extension

 

Benrinnes 1980/2008 27yo (53.1%, Blackadder Raw Cask, Hogshead C#1353 27/120Bts)

C: yellow

21 N: some tangerine peal, citrus, prune, followed by some powder, vanilla, melon peal, more fruit at the end

22 T: medium, a little dry and spicy, very oil, creamy, very good impact, tangerine, ginger, cream cake, good texture

22 F: medium, some coconut, ginger, prune, citrus, very fruity, good extension

22 B: good balanced, both for N & T



插花酒:

Rosebank 1990/2008 17yo 46% Hart Brothers

C: light yellow

21 N: beautiful flowers, elegant and fragrant, sweet, flower honey,野薑花,白薔薇, followed by some ginger, vanilla, clean and fresh, then a little 白花油, powder

21 T: light, clean, fresh fragrance, some ginger, vanilla, then some beautiful flower tea spread out in the mouth, but few variant then

20 F: medium, flower honey, some cream lotion, ginger, vanilla, flat at the end

20 B: balanced, better for nosing, elegant, but few complexes.

 

Mortlach 1989/2006 16yo 56% Sigv. C#2834-35 B#2074/2473 C.S. Matured in Sherry Butt

C: yellow

17 N: some tangerine peal, powder, a little sour, degraded very fast, also variant very fast, not acceptable

18 T: light -> medium, ginger, cream, a little muddle

19 F: short, ginger, cookie, a little plastic, Gorda? Not typical lowland, a little flowers a t the end

18 B: somehow for tasting, but terrible for nosing in progress

 

Springbank 1991/2004 13yo 54.2% MMcD C#430 B#214/300 C.S. Bourbon

C: light yellow

20 N: fresh fragrance, a little tangerine peal, vanilla, some thin wood cask, white peppers

20 T: light -> medium,些許鮮苔味, grass, a little dry, ginger,石灰, pepper

19 F: short, ginger, tangerine peal, a little sticky, peppers

20 B: balanced, but not my style
