The Summery of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
Percy Jackson and the lightning thief-2
After
the field trip, everything was normal but the weather. The weather was very unusual. There was a tornado
blowing in very near Yancy Academy and one of the current events they were studying was how many more planes
that had crashed in The Atlantic. Percy
was so frustrated about school that he called his teacher an “old sot” and he
didn’t even know what it meant, but the headmaster wrote a letter to Percy’s
mother that said Percy wouldn’t be invited next year. After a few days, the final test was
approaching, but because of Percy’s dyslexia, he couldn't read well, so he went
to find his teacher, Mr. Brunner, for advice. When he was at the door of Mr. Brunner’s
office, he heard Grover talking about
him: “alone all summer...a kindly one at school…” and Mr. Brunner said: “there
is someone outside” then Percy ran back to his room. Finally, the summer vacation came started. At first he felt sad to say good-bye to
Grover, but he found out that Grover booked the same greyhound to Manhattan so
they don’t need to say good-bye to each other so fast.
The greyhound they rode broke down and every one went out. Outside Percy saw three old ladies, who were knitting a pair of socks which were very big. When they finished it, they snapped the thread. As Grover saw that, he became very nervous and then pulled Percy back into the bus. Grover asked him what he had seen. Percy told him everything, and Grover freaked out. Percy asked him if he knew why the old ladies snapped the thread, but Grover didn’t say anything.
