July 6 Chicago Children’s Museum

June 6

Today I went to Chicago Children’s Museum. The first thing I played was “Water Ways.” It was a copy of Chicago River. You have to control the water flows to make the boats go. I had a good time driving those boats.

I also went to do a construction project. We followed the steps.
1. We scanned our building permit through a machine.
2. We chose the language, and the girl on the screen would tell us what to do next.
3. We started building our tower as high as possible, and the machine would take pictures of us at work.
The machine would also tell you how much time you had left.
4. When we finished, we went back to the machine to say our names, select our pictures and tell the story about our building..

5. After telling the story, there was still one more thing to do. We brought our building to the display platform and put it there for others to admire.

6. We can look at our pictures and listen to our stories over and over again on their website.

I wish I could go there again, but Mom said we can’t. I hope she will change her mind.
