They are the astounding rock formations that balance on the top of one another, creating beautiful art against the backdrop of the ocean.
Jamie Hlady has always been an artist at heart. It’s hard to explain how he stumbled into the awe-inspiring rock formations he has been doing for the crowds at
“I love the community of White Rock and I love to serve the people,” Hlady said. “I enjoy attracting crowds and putting smiles on their faces as they go for their evening ice cream. Nothing makes me happier than seeing peoples’ face light up.”
He said balancing rocks is much more than just balancing rocks.
I like to think of it as bringing balance to the community,” Hlady said. “Because of my rock balancing, I have met so many different kinds of people. I have also come to understand that lots of people are on sad walks in life, so I just hope to inspire them that anything is possible. These rocks look impossible to balance but it can be done.
I his day job, Hlady works for Atmosphere in
Haldy is reluctant to assign any special meaning to the rocks that defy gravity, as he wants people to see things in their own way when they look at them.
