Recently, I often reviewed the pictures we took before. I really like this colorful one. Harriet, Cristina and me went to Kalbarri National Park. On the way from Perth is around 870 kilometer, lots of flies always follow us. No matter how we put fly net and scarf on our face, they still fly around you.
The trip from Perth to Broome in WA was so nice, although I was always the quiet person, although I saw something unhappy happened between my two best friends…I try to forget bad memory and pretend everything would be fine when we found a job in Broome. But now, all is past.

I don’t know why I started to miss the past 8 months…maybe I am going to separate with Allison (she will back to Taiwan for Chinese lunar New Year), maybe I’m going to move to 4~6 beds dorm from twin room, I am afraid to readjust to sleep with others foreigner. Some of them are dirty and noisy. But I have to. It would be helpful for my further adjust…

I got another 1 month stay in Townsville. I have no plan till now, just know save money to keep my further journey. How can I cook dinner without Allison? I’m a lazy chef. And I don’t like to cook with lots of backpackers. But it seems I have no choice if I still live in Adventures resort (my backpacker’s name).

Actually, Adventures is a nice backpacker. The whole environment is good. They got big kitchen, lots of toilet and shower room. Compared to all backpackers in Townsville, Adventures is the best one. It’s weird that the price living in twin room and many beds dorm is almost the same AU$105~110. So we can see many couples live in a twin room. Even the price for single room is AU$ 150 per week. That’s why I don’t think I will move to share house. Because I don’t like to clean toilet and kitchen.

In my previous article mentioned about Merry Christmas. I was lucky to eat traditional breakfast Bacon and Egg on 25 December. The owner of Adventures provides all backpackers to have breakfast in the ground level. And at 1:30pm, I was invited to have dinner type of lunch with one Australia couple Henry and Megan. They are my first boss in Townsville. I got the pretty present from them. One is necklace and the other is chocolate! Lee, Allison and me had our first special Christmas in Australia. The next day was Boxing Day in Australia, but it rained for whole day. We couldn’t go out for shopping. (But I heard Perth got the highest temperature 44 degree C! Incredible!) Till now, I’m still not sure what’s Boxing Day. If you are interested, go Yahoo Knowledge and give me the correct answer.

Now I stop travel and stay in Townsville. The feeling is the same when I stayed in Broome, but different from the life in Brisbane. I think the main reason is working and after work, you can have your own holiday. I am lucky to get the laundry job, when others are on holiday for Christmas and New Year. And I still can work and just day off on 25th and 26th December and 1st of January. But it’s pretty enough for me and Allison.

Tonight is New Year Eve. We gonna go to the strand beach to celebrate and see firework. Hope we can get pissed. :)
