燉橙治咳嗽 Steamed Orange for Cough‏

 

足足咳了二個星期,喉嚨痕癢到不得了,中醫說我是寒底,以為這一次又是寒咳了,我煮了薑茶喝,不過沒有什麼效果。

公司有個同事教我一個老人家祕方,就是『燉橙』。

以前我都有聽說過『燉橙』可以對付咳嗽,不過要加川貝,原來川貝『燉橙』只是給熱咳的人喝的,寒咳就不能喝,但『燉橙』加鹽就寒咳或熱咳都可以了。
For all kind of cough simply add salt and steam.

在橙頂開口, 在橙肉中間用刀划十字 。

Cut the orange and sliced a 十 with a knife as shown.

在橙肉上加半茶匙鹽

Add 1/2 teaspoonful of salt to the orange.

用牙簽固定橙的上蓋 Use toothpick to fix the orange cover

放入碗內隔水蒸20分鐘
Put the orange into a bowl and steam it with water in the wok or
container for 20 minutes.

把橙肉吃完

Take all the content.

最重要就是把碗內的水喝完, (不很好喝 -因又咸又苦,可以把橙肉和水一道吃)

Most important you have to take the water in the bowl as well.
Rather hard though because it will be salty & bitter.
I suggest to mix the content of the orange with the water in the bowl in
taking.
