於一個休閒的星期六，我回到中大聽社工系一個研討會 - Reflexive in Social Work Praxis。原本我只是打算捧一捧Tim老師的報告環節，但是今天卻有意外的發現。

其中一個題目是由Prof. Renita Wong講的”Spirituality and Critical Social Work”。這個絕對令我有很深的反思。到底什麼是整全的觀念呢？是各人只顧著自己的身心健康，做那些所謂「靈修」活動便已經是一個整全的概念嗎？原來wholistic並不只限於此。人與人、人與社會以及人與生態系列的那種互動，無論你願意與否，你已經參與其中。這是無人可以將自己從這些關係中脫離。當教授提到大家已經在不知不覺間受到人類環境破壞而影響，自覺十分認同亦有點慚愧。今天的午餐在吉野家，食具全都是用完即棄。本身食的時間只是有點無奈，但同時間自己卻重覆在這個店光顧。經濟學上supply creates its own demand，但是這是否一件好事呢？無膠袋日的初步成功推廣環保意識，那麼供應真的令需求出現嗎？還是另一些需求推翻了之前的供應吧！

自己再去看看我所希望做的一些環保教育活動是否真的切合這個整全角度。第一次的「愛‧地球」真的沒有這個概念，只是為環保而做點環保。這一次的「愛‧地球」的主打是生態保育，希望青年人多一點接觸而從中有所反思和成長。這個原本的概念是為著令青年人意識到環境保護為什麼有所急切的需求，以及自己可以做點什麼。但是，我還是以人類的角度去看問題。所以，今天Prof. Wong最後的一張ppt令我有很大的感動。以下是那張slide的內容：

”Even the environmental movement, which aspires to protect the Earth, is often driven by a pragmatic, utilitarian, dualistic and anthropocentric world view. ”The Environment” is out there and we need to protect it because humankind cannot survive without good soil, clean air and pure water. The survival of the human species is a broad enough concept, but still it is limited.... This is a kind of selfish ecology.... The unity of life is not just about human survival, it is about a deep respect and reverence for all life. The need is not only to protect or conserve nature, but to recognize the sanctity of all life.... Without reverence there can be no ecology, and without spirituality, there can be no sustainability. Unless we are prepared to make a radical shift in our thinking and act accordingly, we will not be able to ...attain wholeness”

這是對人、對環境、對社會、對空氣、對所有存在之物的一種尊重的態度。我們現在還是剛開始這個旅程，由各個環保團體、「保樹立人」...開始。

但是，這條路真的還遠呢！
