【自我提醒】从记事本抄来的
今午收拾书橱，突然看见本两年前的记事本。里头写着些东西，不想弄丢，却又不知如何保存，那就把它放到这来好了。
★一个好的领导人所应具备的条件：
礼貌（proprieties）、团队精神（team spirit）、分享（ideas sharing）、合作（cooperation）、创意（creativity）、压力舒解（under pressure）、沟通（communication）、自信（self-confidence）、时间管理（time management）、注意力（attention）、分析能力（analyze）、信任（trust）、周详计划（proper planning）、懂得聆听（listen）、风趣（fun）、守时（puctuality）、影响力（rules）、同等机会（equal opportunity）、从错误中学习（learn from mistake）、取舍（give and take）。
★Civil engineering: the art and science of designing the infrastructures
of a modern CIVILIZED society:-
structural, geotechnical, transportation (Highway), environmental, water resources.
★Structural Engineering: design steel, concrete, or timber framed structures such as tall buildings, bridges, dams, towers, platforms, retaining walls, foundations, and stadiums.
★Challenges faced by civil engineering:-
growing population, infrastructure that is deteriorating, preparing for the possibiling of natural disasters, updating of transportation systems to meet growing needs.
记事本里头还记下了一个小小故事，叫“无知造成恐惧”── 车里老公载着老婆。突然有只蚊子在老婆的脚叮了一下。老婆马上伸手去拍打，但不成功。过后同一只蚊子在老婆耳边飞来飞去。嗡嗡叫的声音叫老婆真不耐烦。而且老婆一直被那同一只蚊子叮咬。老婆终於耐不住地大喊：“好多蚊子啊！”
