教改悲哀, 初中生中英成績僅僅合格...
今日睇報紙, 見到以上標題; 讀畢整篇報導, 不禁有點兒感慨...
報導中講到在"全港初中生學科測驗"成績中, 中一生的中,英文科的平均分分別是50.63分及50.10分; 中三生的中,英文科平均分分別是49.88分(fail)及50.09分. 其中兩者的中,英文寫作卷/閱讀寫作卷皆是"肥佬". 不堪入目的句子有:
~以"There has swimming"表示"他們正在游泳"
~"我立刻打電話call D 消防員"
~"用微波爐丁野食"
~"好在今日未俾人抦過"
~"請校方反醒一下自己"...
另外30%學生不能分辨"before"和"after"; 錯別字有:
~"原來" >> "完來"
~"留下" >> "樓下"
~"抬頭" >> "台頭"...
其實以上o既情況, 我返工時見唔少...
其中, 家銘(中一生)d standard仲差過d 小五, 小六 o既學生.尋日佢做eng 功課, 佢竟然唔識解:
fast, short, far, high, tall, deep, weight, heavy.
我即時呆o酉~然後我叫子森(小六)解, 佢一口氣就解o酉, 之後我問子森:
"你幾多年班?"
佢答完之後我又問家銘同一條問題, 跟住我問佢:"有乜理由佢識解, 而你會唔識解?", 佢好悔氣咁話:"我蠢lor!"
(其實事後諗番, 我當時唔應該咁樣去比, 因為家銘會好難堪之餘, 亦會傷到佢自尊. 我一向都認為"人比人, 比死人"; 正所謂"己所不欲, 勿施於人". 既然我唔鍾意下下都同人比, 咁我又點解要搵佢同子森比呢?)
有次去九龍灣返工, d 小朋友仲駭人~
當時d小二, 小三學生學緊"colours". 做功課時d小朋友話唔識寫, 咁我就同佢講:
"呢o度寫'What's the colour of the car?'"
另一個小朋友又話唔識, 咁跟住我同佢講:
"呢o度寫'It's black.'"
點知搞o左成五分鐘都唔見佢o地落筆, 之後我問佢o地做乜仲唔寫.
問問下先知原來佢o地唔知:'What's the colour of the car' & 'It's black'係咩o黎~~~~有無搞錯呀!!!上面o個條咪有得抄lor~~有咩理由會唔識讀/分辨:pink,blue,black,yellow,green,grey,brown呢d colours ga!?!我個彤彤三歲時已經識得講:"彤彤鍾意pink colour; 媽媽鍾意red colour; 雲妮姐姐鍾意purple colour.", 串埋d字出o黎都仲得呀!
唉~其實依家香港d學生, 強者越強, 弱者越弱; 一強一弱拉匀咪就係"僅僅合格"lor...
"求學不是求分數"......求分數, d學生又不能全面發展; 唔求分數, 香港教育制度又無好o既syllabus去inspire學生d creativity & talent...學生兩頭唔到岸, 想strive for improvement都幾難la~~
既無strong vocabulary power, 亦無creativity, d文又點會寫得好; d command of words 又點會ok ar!?! @____@"
