My new object of affection

Here's an update on my infatuation of late - Kim YooBin!!

This Korean pop star from the girl band WonderGirls rocked my socks off with her rapping in 'So Hot'.

My idea of a female rapper is like, Missy Elliot, masculine, overweight, braided hair, and, black. Never had I thought rappers could be in high heels and short shorts, combined with a deeper husky voice and sexy choreography, whoa, like she said it herself, she's so charismatic!

Check her out yourself. YooBin sing and rap live!

I did a little digging of her background, and guess what I found?
She used to be a tomboy! Well...I guess it goes to show that under every tomboy skin is a sexy beast ready to crawl out (speaking from own experience)? Although it doesn't prove much - and ya'll know what I'm trying to prove - I still am quite proud of my acute gaydar. It's instinctual ladies!

I found an interesting article on Korean (Asian?) culture's gender bending phenomenon. Boys who looked like girls seem to be the norm in most Korean boy bands. Girls who dressed like boys as a fast way to gain popularity and a fan base in Asia. As the author hilariously pointed out, 'It’s bad enough that girls are confused, falling in love with boys that look like girls. But now, fan girls the world over have to deal with liking a girl who looks like a boy'.
