III. 用途：用以徵求他人意見，或表示說話者不太肯定而需他人確定時用之。
1. Tom isn't a student, is he? (主要子句有be時，則附加問句也用be。)
2. They go to school by bicycle, don't they? (主要子句是一般動詞，且無助動詞時，則附加問句用 do/ does。)
3. Mr. Lin can do it himself, can't he? (主要子句是一般動詞，但有助動詞時，則附加問句用助動詞。)
4. Your son hasn't studied that lesson, has he? (主要子句是完成式時，則附加問句用 have/ has。)
5. You are a lawyer, aren't you?
6. I'm stronger than you, am I not(或 aren't I)?
7. We have studied Chinese for more than 10 years, haven't we?
8. The students have finished the work, haven't they?
9. There are many girls playing in the park, aren't there?
10. That is your classmate, isn't it?

A. 有些字本身含有『否定』的意思，附加問句需用肯定。 【no, never, seldom, few, little, hardly. (a few, a little 表肯定)】

B. 祈使句不論肯定、否定，附加問句一律用『will you』。

4. Let's go shopping, ___________ _____? (咱們去逛街吧(你也去)，好嗎)

C. 附加問句如果語調上揚，表示說話者不太確定，用以詢問他人。附加問句如果語調下降，表示說話者很確定，用以徵求他人的同意。

D. 直述句中，如主詞為『this, that, child, baby』，附加問句一律用『it』。
1. The baby is really cute, isn't ______?
2. That is Mr. Wang, isn't ______?

E. 完成式中，以『have, has, had』作為助動詞。

F. 附加問句是依照『主要子句』來設定：

G. ...too...to...，附加問句不受影響。
