經文：

2Ki 4:38-41

Amos 8:11 - 9:1   ¹¹ "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord GOD, "When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the LORD.

這是一個神的預言。在我的感覺裡，已經出現在地上了。狀況和「士6」及「啟9」的狀況是一樣的。

¹² "People will stagger from sea to sea And from the north even to the east; They will go to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, But they will not find it.  ¹³ "In that day the beautiful virgins And the young men will faint from thirst. 

人在飢餓中會尋找神的話。但現在還只是少數人，將來會是大的需要。

¹⁴ "As for those who swear by the guilt of Samaria, Who say, 'As your god lives, O Dan,' And, 'As the way of Beersheba lives,' They will fall and not rise again."  （王下10：29； 何8：5-6； 何4：15；王下1：3； 何13：16）

撒瑪利亞指的就是北國以色列。所犯的罪，就是「分裂」。在這一段的最後，提到這事，說明「飢荒的起因」─分裂，建造「小王國」，結黨建立宗派。

2 Kings 4:38-41   

³⁸ ¶ When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land.

As the sons of the prophets were sitting before him,

「先知的兒子」是一群要事奉神的人。

坐在以利沙面前是等著他的餵養。

 he said to his servant, "Put on the large pot and boil stew for the sons of the prophets."

以利沙做的，只是把大鍋放在火上，但沒有食物。以利沙的意思，是需要有人出去找食物。以利沙在這件事裡的地位，是表現神自己的作法─要人出去找食物來供應大群的需要。但是誰會出去呢？一個有信心的先鋒。。

³⁹ Then one went out into the field

這裡的「一」強調的是「孤單」。這人進入一個「沒有地圖、沒有同伴、沒有前導的領域」，尋找的路，完全只能倚靠上帝。

to gather herbs, and

目的是要尋找「亮光」─食物（傳11：7）。Herbs的原文字義為「亮光」。

found a wild vine and

在神的幫助與計畫裡，這個先鋒有了驚人的收穫─一條野瓜藤。「野」指的是「完全出於神自己的」，不是人教導的，不是從書上看來的。「瓜藤」說出一條「讀經之路」。這條「路線」帶出來的是一大堆「野瓜」。有豐富的亮光和食物，能解決飢荒。

gathered from it his lap full of wild gourds, and

「野瓜」是聖殿至聖所的內板上刻的圖，也被造在銅海邊下（王上6：18； 王上7：24）。是神在人身上所要做成的工作，在人的生命與生活裡結出成熟的果實。所以這個人所獲得的，是真實從神而來的生命糧食。但lap的原文是「行詭詐」。這說出神的工作中的「危機」─人的肉體野心會使神的工作落了空！這些寶貴的亮光賞賜，反成了這個先鋒的「本錢」，拿來建立他的「小王國」。

came and sliced them into the pot of stew,

他是一個真實付代價事奉的供應者。但「豐富的啟示」，在一個肉體沒有被十字架完全殺死的人裡，隱含著「自高」與「自大 」的危險。

for they did not know what they were.

what they were原文裡沒有。 他們不知道，不查 ，這豐盛供應的裡面有「死亡」。

⁴⁰ So they poured it out for the men to eat.

And as they were eating of the stew, they cried out and said, "O man of God, there is death in the pot."

And they were unable to eat.

這個「詭詐」隱含在豐盛供應的裡面，被一群有神的同在，禱告的人發現了。他們拒絕了這個供應。

⁴¹ But he said, "Now bring meal."

He threw it into the pot and said, "Pour it out for the people that they may eat."

Then there was no harm in the pot.

Meal原文是「麵粉」，是麥子經過打碎、磨碎、壓碎成的產物。

Harm原文是evil word。從神而來的「野瓜」，竟成了「邪惡的話語」。

神為了保證祂自己的工作不落空，為了保證祂自己所興起的僕人不墮落，神用了「刺」深深地扎入祂僕人的肉體中，要確保肉體死得徹底，沒有活動的能力！

2 Corinthians 12:7-10   ⁷ Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me-- to keep me from exalting myself! 

「超大的啟示」，豐盛的啟示，極可能使領受者自高自大 ，成了神的工做的攔阻！於是神給祂的僕人打「預防針」─就是「肉中的刺」，撒旦的差役。可能是病、逼迫、、。

⁸ Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me.

神為了確保其工作不失敗在人的肉體上，非常堅決地「狠心地」對待祂的僕人。

 ⁹ And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness."

這樣的「打碎、磨碎、壓碎」會讓人有「活不下去」的感覺（林後1：8）。但事實是，神在其中有「足夠的恩典」。人在這樣的軟弱之中，活下去的指望唯有「呼求神」，這樣的情況裡，「神蹟」─神自己的作為，是唯一的希望！

Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

Most gladly原文字根是「甜」。

dwell in me.原文意為tent over me。

保羅在這樣的「痛」與「苦」中，竟然嚐到了「甜」。他竟然以身上的軟弱為「誇口」。因為這樣的軟弱出於神的愛，免得他成為神的敵人！

 ¹⁰ Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; well content with原文意為「覺得好」。這是「新人」，不是「舊人」。這是「基督」，不是「亞當」。

這五樣，就是神的「預防針」─

Weaknesses原文意為「沒有強壯」。可能是「疾病」。

insults 原文意為「傷害、欺凌 」。就是向詩篇中所說的「你使人坐車軋我的頭」（詩66：12）。

distresses 原文意為「受壓，被迫，不得不」。沒有選擇的餘地，被神逼到角落。

persecutions 原文字義是「追趕，驅逐」。這樣的逼迫，是逃也逃不掉的。

Difficulties原文意為narrow space。是要「走不下去」了。

這些都是神注射在保羅的肉體上的「預防針」。是「粉碎」的工作！保羅面對的是「毀滅」！這就是「麵粉」。被「以利沙」放在「先鋒的職事」裡！

for when I am weak, then I am strong.

最剛強的人，是最需要神的人，是緊緊抓住神不敢放手的人！
