這首歌曲其實是由Danyel Gerard與Ralph Bernet共同創作的一首德文歌曲。最早出現在1968年，歌曲名稱原為Helas 3 fois helas。在1971年Danyel Gerard重新錄製後歌名才改為Butterfly。
