Dear Sir, (GREETING)

Poor conditions in our school canteen (SUBJECT HEADING)

I am writing this letter is to inform you about the poor conditions in our school canteen.

2. First, there are not enough chairs and tables. As a result many students are forced to stand and eat.

3. The number of flies and cockroaches in our canteen are increasing. One can see swarms of flies around the canteen. Cockroaches can be seen foraging for food. The increase of these insects indicates that the canteen is dirty.

4. The canteen workers are also not neatly dressed. They seem to wear the same old dirty clothes for days.

5. The food sold in the canteen is also of poor standard. Pupils are complaining that they are not
getting their money worth.

We would be grateful if you could help to remedy the situation as soon as possible.

Thank you.
