Wi-Fi 6 的由來
無線因其在第二次世界大戰中的應用而受到關注。無線技村屋上網術一直在發展，但一直沒有技術標準。於是在1997年，IEEE發佈了最初的標準:IEEE 802.11，後來又發展出了我們今天使用的802.11b，802.11n，802.11ac等等。
也許每個人都認為802.11真的很難記住。2018年10月4日，Wi-Fi聯盟正式宣佈下一代Wi-Fi技術標準802.11ax至Wi-Fi6，前兩代技術標準802.11n和802.11ac為Wi-Fi4和Wi-Fi5。
2019年9月16日，Wi-Fi聯盟宣佈全面啟動Wi-Fi 6認證計畫。
Wi-fi 6的6大優勢
1.速度優勢
大家自己是不是我們覺得 Wi-Fi 5 已經沒有足夠發展快了呢?Wi-Fi 6 使用了 1024-QAM 的調製資訊技術，每個企業數據子載波系統可以通過攜帶 10 比特的數據，理論進行峰值變化速率以及高達 9.6 Gbps，而 Wi-Fi 5 的理論水準峰值是 7 Gbps。
2.OFDMA技術：多終端優勢
與上一代標準相比，Wi-Fi 6最大的提升不是速度，而是多終端。Wi-Fi 6首次在Wi-Fi協議中引入了OFDMA。
我們教師可以同時通過自己送貨的卡車來理解中國這個基本概念，使用 OFDM 技術的卡車一輛車只可以裝一種管理貨物，有時候這一種貨物不一定能把車裝滿，但是企業物流服務中心發展還會照常發車，但是 OFDMA 可以讓一輛卡車裝多種不同貨物，充分開發利用卡車的空間。
該技術使Wi-Fi6能夠同時支持多個終端的並行傳輸，有效地減少了多個用戶之間的通道競爭，提高了通道利用率。
3.雙向MU-MIMO：創建超低延遲
Wi-fi 6的平均延遲減少到20毫秒，而 wi-fi 5到30毫秒。
Wi-Fi 6技術在上下行雙向鏈路上採用MU-MIMO技術，也是上面卡車送貨的例子。多輛貨車同時送貨，可以提高傳輸速率，增加用戶訪問次數，有效降低併發數據流時的擁塞，從而大大改善類傳輸時延。
