My past had a lot to offer me, be it moments of pride and happiness, tears of heartbreak or truths of the purest of them all. Nonetheless, the only thing left for me to do is take on a new path. As little as I know about where the path leads, it is a task I am bound to embark upon. My bittersweet memories, I have to leave you behind and securely locked in the safe of my soul. The day I return from the trip will be the day my memories shall be and will be treasured.
