hot summer weather during the day, chilly at nite.

It's prolly one of the most bizarre habitat for hamsters to live -- my house. I usually set their houses by the wall near the patio entrance where there's tons of lightings coming from the outside. I often forget about the fact that it could get pretty warm in the mid day and sometimes I come home during lunch finding them laying around on the wheels like they are having a heat stroke. At night, when it cools down and the habitat magically transforms from tropical weather to Alaska-typed weather...well not quite, I was a little exaggerating here. When i set them free to give them some latitude to stretch, I often find her hiding behind my laptop where the network cable is plugged. The transmission of the signals generates heat on the cable line and she absolutely LOVES it and it's become her favorite outside-of-the-cage-hangout-spot. Look at the pix, how cute, she set her chin and tiny little feet on the cable to get warm and cozy:)
The runway show @ Stanford is only a day away, and all I've been doing for it is none-stop eating and none-start exercising. I'm prolly gonna be the fattest model whose thighs are as big as elephant's.
