Chicago Trip retro, day II--On The Record & Signature Rm

Slept till noon, tried to shake a hangover in vain, we set off for an outing as we had an unusual 40 degree and sunny day. Seth took me on a nice ride along the Michigan River, saw the Bears stadium, Boy's town, wealthy suburb Everstan, and Northwestern University campus. We went to this Sangria Restaurant and Tapas Bar I saw on the magazine and discovered a new favorite dish -- fried dates.

Short cab ride later we arrived the musical. Seth got the tix for "On The Record" w/o knowing what exactly the show was, I was rather excited about it. Turned out, it's actually Disney's production, the play composed of 64 most extraordinary hits from the most well-known Disney fairy tales, such as Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Mulan, and so on. By far, Mulan's "Reflection" is still my favorite.

After the show, we went to Signature Room on the 96th floor of John Hancock building. The food absolutely sucked, but view was absolutely phenomenal.

And I was wondering how fast the elevator moves.....MPR??
