Vic's big 26 and Sunday hiking in Saratoga

After a week crazy work in the battle field, I was looking forward to a mellow Friday nite, just kicking back and relaxing with a glass of wine until.....phone rang off the hook. I had to drag my ass outta my cozy comfy bed and decked out to meet a couple friends @ Cuccini, a new bar opening in downtown SJ where I have been refusing to hang. I then realized it was a Persian nite, of course there were "hash" readily accessible pretty much right at the bar. I took a couple pops and fell absolutely in love with the fruity and musky smog. Music was great as usual it was handled under music king Dimitris' wing.

Saturday was Vic's big 26 smash @ Gravity, my old time favorite bar in Marina. Vic has a very diverse group of friends and they are all awesome people and fun to hang around with. Gravity gets really steaming hot in the dance floor and it's not even fun!!! Finally hit the sack around 4am and realized the next day I was supposed to go hiking~~~bunch of us goof balls made a life threatening pack that who bails on hiking will turn into a pig...

Phone rang at 9am sharp, i think it wasn't even 9. Fully geared and we headed to the nature trails in Saratoga, it was nice. Weather was gorgeous with nice breeze and not too cold. We hiked up 2 hours and settled in downtown Los Gatos for lunch, took more carb back than we had burned. We strolled around downtown Los Gatos to discover some hidden treasure. It was quite an eventful day.

Only a few days away from Thxgiving and my Vancouver trip. I'm crossing my fingers as so far there's still no sign of the arrival of my visa....
