大約也是11月，還是學生的bestguy買了一捲錄音帶：Billboard 1984年終排行。
很多歌都是電影插曲“Hello“（萊諾李奇）、I’ll can’t wait forever（空中補給），聽到A面最後一首，當歌聲隨著鋼琴的前奏流瀉出來時，我，不知怎地，開始覺得有些憂傷。

聽到這首歌開始，我就深深的喜歡上Phil Collins，而不是為他另一首更紅的“one more night“。
記得那個時候，bestguy正因為偷偷地喜歡一位女同學但又因為自慚形穢而自苦，於是這首歌，就變成那時每天晚上必聽的曲子，當然歌詞的含意與當時bestguy的處境並不相同，只是，憂傷的曲子自然是能打動憂傷的心靈的。歌詞中望著即將離去的愛人，希望她再看我一眼的心情，和不敢表露感情的bestguy，是何其的相似。
