A Walk in the Rain
以下是我的拙作‧‧‧當然是英文老師改過的:
On our junior high school graduation day, I insisted on leaving alone earlier despite the rain. I didn’t know if it was a good idea to do so after the class reunion. I was not sure which ending was sadder -- to leave everyone and go home alone, or to see friends leave me one by one on our way home.
I was half wet, but I didn’t care. I enjoyed the sight the rain created. It blurred everything. What’s more attractive was the melody of the rain, sometimes at a slow speed, sometimes playing rapidly. The pitch varied as the rain fell on different surfaces. At this moment, I felt like singing.
"Let the rain fall down. I’m coming clean." I hoped the rain can refresh me by washing away my sadness on this graduation day.
