Day 3 in SF --- Mystery Spot (Part II)

After passing those beautiful sceneries, we reached to a big town called Santa Cruz. It reminds me of Iowa City. The sky is so blue that you can hardly see this in Macau or Hong Kong. It’s very relaxing.
It is absolutely a very mysterious place where you will be confused by what you see there---they are just illusions.
You think they are tilting? Oh, no. They are actually standing straight.

Guess which direction the ball will roll? Down? Wrong again. The ball rolls ”up”!

Many of these strange phenomenons and illusuions are still hardly be explained by scientists. Basically, these are due to the magneticism. One of my cameras doesn’t work at all! I feel a little dizzy when I was there as I find it difficult to orient myself. There are many birds in the neibhborhood but you can hardly find one in the woods. Because of this strange magnetic forces, animals or birds get distracted and lost directions in it. Therefore, they avoid passing that area. Isn’t it amazing?
On our way to our next destination, the Hearse Castle, we passed by some local wineries. They are very different in styles and tastes from those in Napa Valley. We stopped by one called ”Eagle Castle” The wines are pretty good and sold at a very good price. My friend bought two.

We settle at Best Western Inn at Pasco Robles where it got a nice deal to stay for a night (USD$90). I was very tired and hungry. We decided to have steak for dinner, and so we go to the Pasco Robles Inn Steak House. We opened one red wine which we bought at the Eagle Castle. Oooo, the dinner is very enjoyable though the food is okay. The wine almost put me to sleep. I am very tire and we go back to the motel to rest early.
