The RPK is a Russian Light Machine Gun. It is a different based on the AK style design with a 100-round drum Magazine to fit into the Machine Gun category.  The RPK-74 variant yields more damage and portability than the original RPK. 

In-Game Stats

Unlike all other basic machine guns, the weapon is dangerous to you, because bullets are less likely to hit an enemy with the gun's moderate recoil during continuous fire. The weapon is decent at medium range but its full potential is realized in close encounters. The RPK somewhat bridges the gap between the M60 and the MK.48, with firepower the same as the AK-47 and with the modest fire rate that most AK's have. The reload rate and draw speed of this weapon is actually slightly faster than the other Shop-bought machine guns. This machine gun has a price tag of 1100 GP per day, a bit more expensive than the K3 and the MK.48.

This variant can be bought for 4,900 NX for 30 Days, 8,900 NX for 90 Days, and 19,900 NX for permanent.

The RPK has many different variantss, including the RPK-74 NX variant, the RPKs MOD Supply Case variant and the RPK-74M from the MYST-N Supply Case.
