don't expect it to be a typical hk crime movie, or a made-in-hk 'jfk', this is an unconventional hk movie instead. the wonderful storytelling technique attracts the audience with interesting scenes. it will be disappointing to look for the truth of the murder case because this is not the intention of the storyteller. the story does its best to mislead and surprise the audiences from the first sense till the last. the focus is not about the truth, but about the mass media. It is the opposite of michael mann's movie 'insider', in which mass media tries to hide the truth from public. but 'a1 headline' raises another issue from opposite angle.
