obviously inspired by the movie 'blow up' from director antonioni, probably the best movie from writer and director brian de palma. while the former is focus on photo-shooting only, the latter mixes photo-shooting and sound-recording together. the story flows like typical suspense story but the unconventional ending uplifts the movie to a higher level, give audiences more than just a suspense story. indeed, the idea throughout the movie is 'matching'. recording sounds match the photos, woman's scream match the movie, man match woman. no wonder why quentin tarantino cited it one of his three favorite movies.
