那一個暑假聽 John Williams 的吉他演奏可能是我接近這個神奇樂器的一次了。
他技巧超卓,可是老被批評成冷感演奏家...不知道為什麼,特別同情喜歡這種演奏。

I love his performance and like all of the musicians that he cooperated with. (I got two CDs.) I call his "distanced" interpretation "rational." I don`t mean it is "bad" to be "emotional." After all, Vengerov, Lang Lang, Yo-yo Ma and many other great musicians who I like very much employ affectionate approaches. I just want to say I like these "distanced" performances, by Maisky, Rostropovichi, John Williams, ... and many more.
