I owned Starbucks stocks (not much) and was a little disappointed that this year they enclosed an invitation for ”2 free brew coffee” in their annual earning report instead of a $5 gift card like they used to (which we usually would buy for mocha, the flavored drink.)
I understand that their effort of cutting some cost but thought that
was just less flattering to a loyal customer.
However, today, my husband told me he used that invitation to exchange
for a tall mocha.

I said, ”so you asked?”
He replied, ”ya, the manger just said ’sure, why not?’”

I am so proud.

Yes, I feel silly that I am proud of being a company’s shareholder.
But this was really my first reaction when I learned that.

This is a company who really treat their customers well.
